Welcome Message-IEFC 2026

Dear colleagues, It is a great pleasure to welcome you to the International Energy Future Conference 2026 in Rome, a city where history, culture and innovation meet. Over the three days from 17-19 September 2026, we will gather as researchers, industry leaders, policymakers and students to confront the central challenge of our time: delivering affordable, secure and sustainable energy systems at real scale. I hope this meeting becomes a space for honest interdisciplinary dialogue, where fundamental science, advanced engineering and market deployment are discussed together, not in isolation. Please use every session, corridor conversation and informal discussion to test ideas, build new partnerships and imagine practical pathways from laboratory to pilot to global rollout. I am confident that the insights and collaborations formed here in Rome will accelerate the transition to a cleaner, smarter and more resilient energy future for all.

Yours Sincerely
Prof. Dr. Engr. Saim Memon, London, United Kingdom

Welcome Note- IEFC 2026

Dear congress visitors, it is an honor and pleasure to write a few welcome notes. Optoelectronics and nanotechnology today makes unprecedented progress, and Liquid crystal devices (LCD) are used in almost all electronic devices and information systems. This outstanding success was achieved mainly via an enthusiasm of physicists, chemists and engineers who not only studied unique properties of liquid crystals but also thought about their optimization providing technical privileges of liquid crystal devices. Photoalignment and photopatterning materials based on azodye nanolayers can be effectively used in LC alignment and patterning for new generations of LC devices that provide extremely high resolution and optical quality of alignment both in glass and plastic substrates, photonics holes etc. New liquid crystal photonics devices include optically rewritable E-paper, field sequential color ferroelectric liquid crystal (FLC) projectors, photo-patterned quantum rods and 100% polarizers, q-plates, sensors, switchable lenses, windows with voltage controllable transparency, security films, switchable antennas, light controlling elements in fibers, holographic displays. I wish the Conference to be a success.

Yours Sincerely
Prof. Dr. Vladimir Chigrinov, Hkust, Hk

Welcome message from Nur Hassan

It is a pleasure to offer a few words on the transformation of waste plastics into hydrogen. At a time when the world is striving to meet rising clean energy demand while confronting escalating plastic pollution, solutions that address both challenges are more critical than ever. Pyrolysis-driven hydrogen production presents a compelling dual-impact pathway: it converts mixed and contaminated plastic waste into valuable syngas, enables the recovery of liquid hydrocarbons, and facilitates the generation of low-carbon hydrogen through advanced processes such as catalytic reforming, hydrotreatment, and plasma-assisted upgrading. This approach not only advances sustainable energy systems but also redefines how society manages plastic waste within a circular economy framework.

Yours Sincerely
Dr. Nur Hassan, Cairns, Queensland, Australia

Welcome to IEFC 2026

I am honored to participate in the International Energy Future Conference (IEFC 2026) in Rome. This event brings together global leaders, experts, and innovators committed to building a sustainable and inclusive energy future.
My keynote will highlight how productive small-scale mobility powered by CNG and LPG can accelerate the energy transition while generating social impact, economic opportunity, and cleaner cities — particularly in emerging economies.
I look forward to sharing insights, learning from fellow speakers, and contributing to meaningful dialogue on practical solutions that balance sustainability, energy security, and development.
I am confident that IEFC 2026 will inspire collaboration and concrete actions toward a resilient, equitable, and low-carbon future for all.

Yours Sincerely
Mrs. Deinar Agudelo Ortiz, Medellin, Colombia

Hello & Welcome to IEFC 2026

Dear congress visitors, it is an honor and pleasure to write a few welcome notes. Renewable energy and energy storage is very important and fast progress in last years.  This opens new opportunities to adapt modern energy sources to climate change, to achieve higher productivity and to introduce intelligent, differentiated method. The important topic is instead of energy production related energy saving. The interruptible renewable energy sources made indispensable energy saving to be used every time.

There are more challenges to use and storage the renewable energy uninterruptible. Instead of energy saving the reserve the environmental and nature also important.  The new technologies and methods are will investigate and succeed for micro grids and network in my speech

Yours Sincerely
Prof. Dr. Mustafa Ergin Sahin, Rize, Turkiye
