Biography:
Theresa Koffler is a Junior Researcher at the K1 Competence Center BEST – Bioenergy and Sustainable Technologies. She is working in the area “Syngas Platform Technologies” in Vienna. Her research focuses on non-fossil-based Fischer Tropsch Synthesis and the optimization of slurry bubble column reactors for industrial applications. At BEST, Theresa manages the 250 kW pilot-scale FT plant, wax cleaning unit and cold flow models. She did her two Bachelor’s degrees in Process Engineering and Environmental System Studies at the University of Technology Graz. She completed her Master’s degree in Process Engineering at the Technical University Vienna where she now pursues her PhD.
