Artificial Intelligence in Energy Systems Design and Control

Artificial Intelligence in Energy Systems Design and Control

Artificial intelligence in energy systems design and control enables intelligent, adaptive, and optimized operation of complex energy infrastructures. AI techniques such as machine learning, neural networks, and reinforcement learning are used for system modeling, control optimization, and performance prediction. In design, AI supports optimal sizing of components, system configuration, and techno-economic analysis. In control applications, AI improves load forecasting, renewable generation prediction, voltage regulation, and energy dispatch. AI-based controllers adapt to changing operating conditions and uncertainties. These capabilities enhance efficiency, reliability, and flexibility of power systems, microgrids, and energy storage networks. Artificial intelligence is becoming a key enabler of smart, autonomous, and sustainable energy systems.
