CSP Technology

Concentrated Solar Power (CSP) technology uses mirrors or lenses to concentrate sunlight onto a receiver, producing heat for electricity generation or industrial use. CSP systems include parabolic troughs, solar towers, and dish systems. Thermal energy storage enables CSP plants to supply power beyond daylight hours. CSP technology supports grid-scale renewable power with flexibility and dispatchability. Ongoing research aims to reduce costs, improve materials, and enhance thermal efficiency. CSP plays an important role in renewable energy diversification.
