Energy Access

Energy Access

Energy access refers to the availability of affordable, reliable, and modern energy services for all populations. Lack of energy access limits economic development, education, healthcare, and quality of life. Expanding energy access involves electrification, clean cooking solutions, and decentralized energy systems such as solar home systems and microgrids. Renewable energy technologies offer cost-effective and sustainable solutions for remote and underserved regions. Improving energy access supports social inclusion, poverty reduction, and sustainable development. Universal energy access is a core global development objective and a foundation for economic and human progress.
