Thermoelectric Materials

Thermoelectric Materials

Thermoelectric materials convert heat directly into electricity using temperature differences. They are used for waste heat recovery in industrial processes, vehicles, and power plants. Key properties include high electrical conductivity, low thermal conductivity, and strong thermoelectric performance. Advances in nanostructuring and material engineering have significantly improved efficiency. Thermoelectric materials also enable solid-state cooling without moving parts. These materials contribute to energy efficiency by capturing unused thermal energy. Thermoelectric technologies support sustainable energy utilization and decentralized power generation.
