Wind Power

Wind Power

Wind power refers to electricity generated using wind turbines that convert wind energy into mechanical and then electrical energy. Modern wind power systems are highly efficient and capable of generating electricity at utility scale. Wind power installations range from small distributed systems to large wind farms. The cost of wind power has declined significantly, making it competitive with conventional energy sources. Wind power supports grid diversification and reduces carbon emissions. When integrated with energy storage and smart grid technologies, wind power enhances energy reliability. It is a cornerstone of global renewable energy strategies and climate mitigation efforts.
